In addition to the Heisman Pundit's Heismanments, what other challenges do you see for Hawaii's Colt Brennan to be the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner?
Some quick thoughts:
The bar is set high - 58 TDs might have to be beaten if he is to have a legit chance at coming out on top - that is 5TDs per game.
Brian Brohm - if voters will be comfortable voting for a school with out tradition, they may go with Louisville's Brohm given the expected tight finish to the Big East and a perceived higher level of competition.
Brennan has a great chance to win Heisman. With possible changes in the offense at Arkansas after Gus Malzahn left, and Felix Jones, I think Darren McFadden will not duplicate his 2006 stats.
Brian Brohm is a good QB, but, can he stay on the field all season? He missed some games the past two seasons. Granted, so did Brennan in 2005, but Brohm's stats never come close to Brennan's.
Also, it cant hurt with Boise, Fresno, and NMSU all having to visit this season.
